We told you about the free Harmony Arts Festival in Freecouvering Around the West Vancouver Waterfront (page 114) and now it’s time for the main event! Enjoy more than 50 live musical performances, for free, from July 31 to August 9, 2026.
The ten day celebration of the arts will also include visual art exhibitions, artisan markets, culinary experiences, children’s art activities, and special events set against the backdrop of the North Shore’s waterfront.

At the Ferry Building Gallery
This year’s Featured Artist program celebrates the work of acclaimed West Vancouver artist Tam Irving. For more than five decades, Irving has explored colour, form, and abstraction through painting, drawing inspiration from the natural world and the landscapes around him. A special exhibition, Dimensions, will be presented at the Ferry Building Gallery during the festival. His artwork is also featured on the official 2026 festival poster and merchandise.
Sounds of Summer
The RE/MAX Garden Stage and Beedie West Stage at Millennium Park will feature more than 50 performances throughout the festival, showcasing a diverse lineup of local favourites and acclaimed Canadian artists. Highlights include performances by The Paperboys, The Whiskeydicks, Side One, Trevor Murray and The Lonely Nights, Honeybear, The Band, Krystle Dos Santos, and The Vanrays, alongside emerging and established artists from across British Columbia. Visitors can enjoy afternoon performances, dinner concerts at 5:30 p.m., and evening headline shows.
Visual Arts Experiences
The Visual Arts Hub in John Lawson Park features the Harmony Group Exhibition, the For the Love of Art youth exhibition sponsored by IRIS Visual Group, Artsy Kids drop-in art activities, demonstrations, and opportunities to connect with local artists throughout the festival. Sponsored by British Properties, ArtsPEAKS returns with a series of artist talks, panel discussions, and demonstrations featuring local artists and creative professionals. Presented by Polygon Homes, the Xwalacktun and Friends Carving Studio features live carving demonstrations and conversations with Indigenous artists throughout the festival.
Harmony Arts Festival Markets
Sponsored by Wall Financial Corporation, the Art Market returns to Argyle Avenue over two weekends, July 31 to August 3 and August 7 to 9. Featuring more than 50 artists and artisans, visitors can browse and purchase original works including ceramics, glass, jewellery, painting, photography, textiles, woodwork, and more. The Bespoke Market, presented in partnership with Bespoke Market, takes place August 4 to 6 and features a curated selection of local makers, artists, and handcrafted goods.
